بسم الله الرحمن اللرحيم

Assalamualaikum. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

I'm very grateful to Allah for all His blessings. Tasneem has changed my life. My wife and I are so happy with her. This will be a new chapter of our life. I pray to Allah to guide us to the straight path, guides and helps us in raising Tasneem. May Allah make her among the pious people.

SubhanAllah.

Islamic tradition is so beautiful. Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) taught us how to celebrate with a newborn.

1. Naming the newborn. Choose the name that has a good meaning.

2. Aqeeqah. Slaughter a lamb on the 7th day after the baby was born. One lamb for a daughter and 2 lambs for a son.

3. Shaving the baby's head on the seventh day after the baby was born and give charity.

4. Taklik, putting something sweet in the pallet of the baby.

I did not put the details for each sunnnahs because all 4 schools (Maliki, Hanafi, Shafie and Hanbali) have differences.

Well, inshAllah. May Allah guides us all.

Assalamualaikum. Yep. iPhone. I too got suck into the 'i' world. I bought my wife an iPhone few weeks ago. I was not an iPhone fan until I played with this one. I was amazed with the apps for iPhone. Games, business apps such as LINKEDIN, FEDEX MOBILE, DOCUMENTS TO GO (create and edit documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) lifestyle such as FACEBOOK, PANDORA, and so on. You can find the temperature of your area with iPhone. If someone asks you, what is amniotic fluid, apps in iPhone will give you the information you need. Everything is on your fingretips and mobile. But of course not all apps are free. Some apps cost a lot of money. I always looking for the free ones. Quran in iPhone, Hadith in iPhone, these are cool ones.

Keris or Kriss:
–noun
a short sword or heavy dagger with a wavy blade, used by the Malays.

Malay warriors with keris.

In ancient times it was used as a weapon. A warrior who is well known in martial arts called silat carried Keris as a weapon. Nowadays we still see people carry Keris in their waist belt. You may think these people are strong and skillful warriors. Well, the credit goes to the outfit. Realistically, only men who are dressing for their wedding day. Just to impress the bride.
During colonial times, Malay warriors fought the Portuguese. The Portuguese were using guns and cannons. while the Malay warriors were using Keris. Unfortunately the Portuguese succeeded in taking over the Malay land.Keris versus guns. Guess who has the advantages.

Pertama kali main salji. Ni kat depan umah pak mertua. Gambar ambik tahun 2007. Mula-mula memang syok. Tapi sekarang ni dah tak larat. Kalau salji je, mesti kena 'shovel' snow kat umah driveway. Kalau tak keta takleh nak kuar dari garage, pastu kat highway selalunya ada accident. Pastu, paling teruk bile jadi ice, lagi bahaya. Tapi yang best saljinya buleh gi snowboard. Umah in-laws dekat dengan ski/snowboard resort. Tengah belajar snowboard. Menceburi sukan baru. InshaAllah
